Taking the Leap

I’m not exactly what people would call a risk-taker. But every now and then I find it wildly fulfilling to do something outside of my comfort zone. I’ve learned I’m pretty much guaranteed to learn something from it. For me, at age 36, I took a leap and dared to quit my job of 9 years in which knew how to succeed, what to expect and who turn to when things got hairy.

Turns out, I wanted more. I knew if I never tried a career in interior design, I’d always regret it. So I took the leap and it couldn’t feel better. I wouldn’t exactly put it in the easy column, but worth it.

Here I am six months later with some schooling under my belt, projects to share and a hopefully a interesting blog to follow.
